Born in Britain, Hélène has lived in France for many years. Working in pastel, watercolour and acrylics she has a passion for capturing the light. Her subjects vary widely from portraits to landscapes and still subjects. Many of her paintings have a quality of stillness about them, capturing a moment, a detail, an image fixed in time. An intense interaction of light and contrasts.

taught, she has worked in Graphic art and as a professional artist
for more than 25 years. A member of the Maison des Artists,
she has exhibited widely, participating in shows in France, Poland,
Italy, and
St.Petersburg, Russia and solo
exhibitions near her home in
South
West France and Paris.
